Find Your Size
What do the numbers mean when choosing your frame size?
At first glance, it may be confusing seeing all the numbers on the 'size' options when choosing your frames, but don't worry! It's actually pretty simple.
You will normally see 3 sets of numbers. For example:
52 -18 -135
- The first number refers to the width of the lens in each eye, in mm.
- The second number refers to the 'bridge' of the glasses, or the distance between the lenses, in mm.
- The third number, known as the 'temple length,' refers to the length of the arms of the glasses (the bits that sit on your ears), in mm.
Sometimes the size will only show the first two numbers, in which case an average temple length has been chosen.
Pro Tip!
Refer to the numbers on the inside of a frame you already have that fits you well. This is your perfect size!
As all measurements are in mm a slight change of size does not necessarily mean the frame won't fit, it's all about comfort!
